Toronto Beekeepers Collective Presents
Bees In the City: Better Urban Beekeeping

The Toronto Beekeepers Collective (TBC) will hold its annual day-long workshop for Toronto’s urban bee
enthusiasts. Bees In the City: Better Urban Beekeeping is to be held at Christ Church Deer Park, 1570
Yonge Street, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019. This, the 12 th annual
educational day, features presentations by Hamilton’s honeybee experts, Dan Douma and Luc Peters,
several Toronto-based urban beekeeping professionals, and The Fairmont Royal York’s Executive Chef
jW Foster. Registration is $50 per person (discounted rate of $40 for students and seniors with
identification).

The Toronto Beekeepers Collective (TBC) is a collective dedicated to learning about bees and beekeeping, providing public education around bees, involving ourselves in political advocacy on behalf of bees. We are also responsible for the care of our shared hives throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

The TBC is a proud member of both the Toronto District Beekeepers’ Association (TDBA) and the Ontario Beekeepers’ Association (OBA).
