Learn how to make your own natural soap!
At this hands-on work shop, Toronto Beekeepers Collective member, Alessandra Arciero will
instruct participants on how to make soap using the cold process. When you use this process,
your soap will take a couple of months to cure, so please be prepared to wait to enjoy your
creation. Each participant will leave with a bar of soap in a mold that they can take home while
they wait for it to cure (choice of fragrances or plain), a list of suppliers for the raw materials
and instructions on how to make fresh batches at home.
The workshops will be taking place from 7:00 to 8:30 on Tuesday Sept 12, 2017 or Tuesday Oct
17, 2017 at Foodshare, 120 Industry St Toronto. There is lots of free parking. TTC access is via
the 71B bus from Runnymede Sunway Station or the 171 Mount Dennis bus. The bus stops are
a short walk from the Foodshare building.
For your added enjoyment, we will taste a variety of honeys.
The cost is $25.
